| Abstract: | Fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm applied to Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) data for purpose of classifying polar clouds and surfaces. Good agreement found between resulting classes and cloud fraction from algorithm, manual classification and unsupervised maximum likelihood classifier. |
