Record #98626:

Measuring the length of an ice floe trajectory / Heinrich Hoeber.

Title: Measuring the length of an ice floe trajectory / Heinrich Hoeber.
Author(s): Hoeber, Heinrich.
Date: 1989.
In: Polar Record. (1989.), Vol. 25(155) (1989)
Abstract: Conclusions drawn from experimental data obtained from Weddell and Greenland seas show that movement of sea-ice particles can be viewed as semi-random process; although external forcing of wind and curreent causes preferred average direction of ice drift, trajectories resemble those of particles in dffusive process.
