Record #98564:

Model tests of load transmission through grounded ice rubble / Gary W. Timco, Mohamed Sayed, Robert M.W. Frederking.

Title: Model tests of load transmission through grounded ice rubble / Gary W. Timco, Mohamed Sayed, Robert M.W. Frederking.
Author(s): Timco, Gary W.
Sayed, Mohamed.
Frederking, Robert M. W.
Date: 1989.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Mechanical Engineers
In: Proceedings of the Eighth International Conference on Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering--1989--The Hague, The Netherlands, March 19-23, 1989. Vol. 4. Arctic and polar technology. (1989.),
Abstract: In these tests, section of Arctic structure was built above submerged berm. Both structure and berm were instrumented independently of one another, so that load apportioning through rubble to berm and structure could be determined. Implications for design loads of structures built on submerged berms.
Notes:
