| Abstract: | Measurements of effects of sea-ice action in winter in Baltic Sea have been conducted since 1985. Describes method of measurement and summarizes main results from 1985 to 1988. Compares severity of these winters to long-term averages. Long-term extreme values are evaluated for various parts of ship, based on measured 12 h period maximum values. |
