Abstract: Private expedition to commemorate 75th anniversary of Amundsen's conquest of South Pole. Pole party of four took two dog sledges along Amundsen's route but turned back 400 km short of Pole in order to meet ship on schedule. Author collected remote sensing ground truth data; glaciological investigations by Monica Kristensen.
