Record #98107:

The effects of freezing and desiccation on photosynthesis and survival of terrestrial Antarctic algae and cyanobacteria / Martin C. Davey.

Title: The effects of freezing and desiccation on photosynthesis and survival of terrestrial Antarctic algae and cyanobacteria / Martin C. Davey.
Author(s): Davey, Martin C.
Date: 1989.
In: Polar Biology. (1989.), Vol. 10(1) (1989)
Abstract: Photosynthesis measured in algae Prasiola crispa and cyanobacteria Phormidium autumnale occurring in fellfields of Signy Island to monitor effects of freezing and desiccation with marked results: most notably, rate of photosynthesis in Prasiola was an order of magnitude greater than that in Phormidium.
