Record #98106:
Benthic seasonality in an intertidal mud flat at Kerguelen Islands (Austral Ocean). The relationships between meiofaunal abundance and their potential microbial food / M. Bouvy, J. Soyer.
Title: | Benthic seasonality in an intertidal mud flat at Kerguelen Islands (Austral Ocean). The relationships between meiofaunal abundance and their potential microbial food / M. Bouvy, J. Soyer. |
Author(s): | Bouvy, M. Soyer, J. |
Date: | 1989. |
In: | Polar Biology. (1989.), Vol. 10(1) (1989) |
Abstract: | Data from one year of weekly sampling analysed for species, their suspected microbial food, and associated chemical and physical factors. Data suggest that development time and reproductive strategy of the few co-dominant species of main taxa govern annual pattern of meiofauna community. |
Notes: | Polar Biology. Vol. 10(1) :19-27 (1989). |
