Abstract: Main prey species of Gadus morhua were capelin Mallotus villosus and deep-sea shrimp Pandalus borealis. There was also considerable consumption of redfish Sebastes sp. and herring Clupea harengus. Results show that growing cod stock has had great impact on some commercially exploited prey species.
