Date: 1989.
Publisher: Luleå: Tekniska Högskolan i Luleå
In: POAC 89 : the 10th International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions. June 12-16 1989, Luleå, Sweden [Vols. 1 & 2]. (1989.), Vol.1.
Abstract: Ridging forces are derived from stress sensor data obtained in autumn 1988 and compared with predicted force levels from several models. Observations of ridge sail height are compared with limit heights of ridge calculated from ridge building models. Stress data indicate that forces occurring before ridge building may be larger than forces occurring during ridging event.
