| Abstract: | Based on results of "Razrezy" ("Sections") programme carried out in Norwegian and Greenland seas between 1981 and 1985, and on data acquired previously. Analyses features of formation, changeability, and thermohaline structure of principal gyres and current through Faroe-Shetland strait. Presents evaluation of synoptic, seasonal and interannual changes in principal oceanographic fields and their statistical characteristics. Reveals series of features in structure of active layer of ocean and adjacent layer of atmosphere at pack-ice margin. |
