Record #97597:

View through ice: are unusual radar backscatter features from the surface of the Malaspina Glacier, Alaska, expressions of subglacial morphology? / Bruce F. Molnia, John E. Jones.

Title: View through ice: are unusual radar backscatter features from the surface of the Malaspina Glacier, Alaska, expressions of subglacial morphology? / Bruce F. Molnia, John E. Jones.
Author(s): Molnia, Bruce F.
Jones, John E.
Date: 1989.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1989.), Vol. 70(28) (1989)
Abstract: Describes these features, and agrees with earlier workers that there is strong relationship between surface swales and subglacial topography. Analysis of features is continuing; also radar data of coastal area from Icy Bay to Grand Plateau Glacier (cover photograph) are available.
