Abstract: Tests method described by Murat and co-workers (1986) for taking stress redistribution into account during pressuremeter creep tests on results of laboratory pressurementer tests in polycrystalline ice at -2°C, obtained by Kjartanson and others (1988). Concludes that procedure used by Murat and co-workers enables primary creep parameters for ice to be determined with satisfactory precision.
