Record #97013:

Habitat use and diet as biogeographic indicators for subantarctic Ectemnorhinini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) / S.L. Chown.

Title: Habitat use and diet as biogeographic indicators for subantarctic Ectemnorhinini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) / S.L. Chown.
Author(s): Chown, S. L.
Date: 1989.
In: Antarctic Science. (1989.), Vol. 1(1) (1989)
Abstract: When examined in light of Quaternary history of South Indian Ocean Province islands, data from study of habitat use, diet and morphology of weevils supports hypothesis that predominance of cryptogam feeders and dearth of angiosperm feeders is due to previous climatic conditions.
