In: Geological Survey of Canada. Paper. (1989.), Vol. 89-1D (1989)
Abstract: Blisters (on dolomite) are 1 to 3 m high and 2 to 5 m in diameter, resembling miniature pingos. Related forms in shaly sandstone are 2 to 3 m deep trenches in regular grid pattern, with cells 50 to 120 m wide. Evidence suggests all frost-heaved features date from early postglacial.
