Record #96791:

Hydrothermalism and hydrocarbon potential in the King George Basin of the Bransfield Strait, Antarctica / M.W. Han.

Title: Hydrothermalism and hydrocarbon potential in the King George Basin of the Bransfield Strait, Antarctica / M.W. Han.
Author(s): Han, M. W.
Date: 1989.
Publisher: Seoul: Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute
In: Antarctic science : geology & biology; proceedings of the First International Symposium on Antarctic Science, November 4-5, 1988, Seoul, Korea. (1989.),
Abstract: Hydrothermal reactions clearly evident in anomalous porewater chemistry of thickly sedimented basin, a result of submarine volcanism. Discovery of thermogenic hydrocarbons may attest to active petroleum source rock along the Antarctic continent.
Notes:

In: Antarctic science : geology & biology; proceedings of the First International Symposium on Antarctic Science, November 4-5, 1988, Seoul, Korea / Hyung Tack Huh, Byong-Kwon Park, Seo-Hang Lee, eds.
