| Abstract: | Programme started in 1986, in connection with seismic surveys of Adventdal and Eskerdal. Vegetation survey was carried out on seismic line, and mapping of reindeer numbers, botanically valuable areas and vehicle tracks /soil disturbance was done. Effects of snow scooters on deer were assessed. Environmental survey continued in 1986. Drilling for oil and gas in Haketang began, and polar bear migration study and assessment of effect on Brunnich's guillemot colony of helicopter noise were made. |
