Record #95691:

A comparison of body-size scaling between Antarctic and Arctic seabirds / W.R. Siegfried, S.G. Sealy, A.J. Armstrong.

Title: A comparison of body-size scaling between Antarctic and Arctic seabirds / W.R. Siegfried, S.G. Sealy, A.J. Armstrong.
Author(s): Siegfried, W. R.
Sealy, S. G.
Armstrong, A. J.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Ottawa: University of Ottawa Press
Abstract: Comparison seeks to: determine whether reproductive parameters can be scaled allometrically to body size; identify gross differences in aspects of breeding biologies; identify possible causal factors for differences found; and explain reasons for relatively large representation of proportionately large-bodied species in Antarctic avifauna.
