| Abstract: | Studies in winters of 1985-86 and 1986-87. Different hydrometeorological conditions led to different ice phenomena. Movement of ice was related to changes of air temperature. Marked drop in temperature caused ice shrinkage and development of cracks on surface. Destructive effect of ice was apparent on both natural and man-made banks. |
