| Abstract: | Uses autoregressive model to conduct probability analysis of interannual sequence of Baltic Sea ice-cover percentage, 1719/20-1962/63. Identifies three periods in sequence distinct from each other in all probability characteristics. Shows that ice-cover percentage predictability level can be increased only by means of transfer function models, as low correlation significance of sequence's values means that one cannot construct model based only on sequence's own values. |
