Abstract: | Describes two eukaryotic and three cyanobacterial communities from McMurdo Dry Valleys. Eleven coccoid, one pleurocapsoid, and five filamentous cyanobacteria characterised and illustrated. Moisture grade of rock substrate found to affect pH, formation of primary iron stain, and distribution of microbial communities. |
