Net CO₂ exchange in relation to thallus moisture and temperature in two fruticose lichens Usnea antarctica and Usnea aurantia co-atra from the maritime Antarctic / Paul M. Harrisson, P. Rothery.
Title: | Net CO₂ exchange in relation to thallus moisture and temperature in two fruticose lichens Usnea antarctica and Usnea aurantia co-atra from the maritime Antarctic / Paul M. Harrisson, P. Rothery. |
Author(s): | Harrisson, Paul M. Rothery, P. |
Date: | 1988. |
In: | Polarforschung. (1988.), Vol. 58(2/3) (1988) |
Abstract: | Although morphologically similar, the respiratory and photosynthetic responses of the two species, collected at Signy Island, were totally different; this may be accounted for by differences in light response. The two species also differed in their reproductive modes. |
