Record #94955:

Finite element analysis of floating ice sheets / Geir Horrigmoe, Mikael Nyström.

Title: Finite element analysis of floating ice sheets / Geir Horrigmoe, Mikael Nyström.
Author(s): Horrigmoe, Geir.
Nyström, Mikael.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Trondheim: Tapir Publishers
In: Polartech '88. International Conference on Technology for Polar Areas, the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Trondheim, Norway, 15-17 June 1988. Proceedings. (1988.), Vol. 2.
Abstract: Transverse loading (bearing strength) of floating ice sheets. Four-node quadrilateral plate element based on Reissner-Mindlin theory is adopted. Transverse shear deformation is accounted for and anisotropic material behaviour can be handled. Numerical examples are presented.
Notes:

In: Polartech '88. International Conference on Technology for Polar Areas, the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Trondheim, Norway, 15-17 June 1988. Proceedings. Vol. 2. / Arnold Hansen, Just F. Storm, eds.
