Record #94908:

Wave reflections from an ice edge / Torkild Carstens, Arild Røsdal.

Title: Wave reflections from an ice edge / Torkild Carstens, Arild Røsdal.
Author(s): Carstens, Torkild.
Røsdal, Arild.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Fairbanks, AK: University of Alaska Fairbanks, Geophysical Institute
In: Port and ocean engineering under Arctic conditions. Vol. 1. (1988.),
Abstract: Flexibility of sea-ice cover determines reflection, which is studied by means of several hundred numerical experiments with six different ice models. Models include sea-ice covers that are rigid, elastic, viscoelastic, and without stiffness. Some ice floes or bands are included in analysis, which is confined to linear wave theory.
