Record #94892:

Creep process and rupture characteristics of sea ice in the Bohai sea / Zhi-jun Li, Fu-cheng Li, Ji-xue Sui.

Title: Creep process and rupture characteristics of sea ice in the Bohai sea / Zhi-jun Li, Fu-cheng Li, Ji-xue Sui.
Author(s): Li, Zhi-jun.
Li, Fu-cheng.
Sui, Ji-xue.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Fairbanks, AK: University of Alaska Fairbanks, Geophysical Institute
In: Port and ocean engineering under Arctic conditions. Vol. 1. (1988.),
Abstract: Under uniaxial compression based on creep tests on two samples of natural ice with axes parallel to and perpendicular to sea level, respectively. Results show significant differences between creep processes and rupture characteristics for different loading directions, related to effects of growth direction, grain size, brine drainage, and anisotropy.
Notes:

Proceedings of Ninth Conference (POAC-87) on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions, held at University of Alaska, Fairbanks, AK, 17-21 August 1987.
