| Abstract: | Ice conditions and properties in gulf are compared with ice data from Arctic and sub-Arctic areas of interest for offshore oil and gas exploration. Field testing techniques for ice-structure interaction are reviewed, and scaling and other requirements for transfer of test results from gulf to other offshore areas are discussed. Reviews present full-scale investigations in gulf. |
