| Abstract: | During austral summer 1982-83, continuous temperature and salinity profiles were obtained from northern and southern fronts of George VI Ice Shelf. During following two summer field seasons discrete temperature and salinity measurements were made near southern front of ice shelf and temperature profiles were taken in Ronne Entrance. First comparison is made between conditions at opposing ice fronts. |
