Abstract: Atmospheric circulation causes accumulation of meteoritic debris (which is alkaline in character) in the Antarctic stratosphere, which may result in neutralization of natural acidity of stratospheric aerosols and subsequently contribute to photochemical depletion of ozone in austral spring.
