Abstract: Describes five species found in region. Four are frogs: wood frog (Rana sylvatica), northern leopard frog (Rana pipiens), boreal chorus frog (Pseudaris triseriata maculata), Canadian toad (Bufo hemiophyrys americanus), and red-sided garter snake (Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis). Only chorus frog and wood frog range very far north.
