Record #94503:
Antarctic springtime ozone depletion computed from temperature observations / Joan E. Rosenfield, Mark R. Schoeberl, Paul A. Newman.
Title: | Antarctic springtime ozone depletion computed from temperature observations / Joan E. Rosenfield, Mark R. Schoeberl, Paul A. Newman. |
Author(s): | Rosenfield, Joan E. Schoeberl, Mark R. Newman, Paul A. |
Date: | 1988. |
In: | Journal of Geophysical Research. (1988.), Vol. 93(D4) (1988) |
Abstract: | Reports use of observationally based, mechanistic dynamical model to simulate decline of total ozone during September and October for years 1979 through 1986. Vertical velocities derived from observed stratospheric temperature changes and computed radiative heating rates used to advect ozone mixing ratio profile during spring period. |
Notes: | Journal of Geophysical Research. Vol. 93(D4) :3833-3849 (1988). |
Keywords: | 551.510.534 -- Ozone layer. 551.52 -- Atmospheric radiation and temperature. D -- Atmospheric sciences. (*7) -- Antarctic regions. |
