| Abstract: | Lowest 2 km of terminal zone surveyed by means of terrestrial photogrammetry. Maps prepared at scale of 1:5000. Examines factors affecting accuracy of plotting contour lines on glacier map, and establishes that terrestrial photogrammetry can be used to estimate extent of ablation of sub-polar glaciers in Spitsbergen. |
