Record #94428:

The present state of ice cap islands in the Soviet Arctic / L.S. Govorukha.

Title: The present state of ice cap islands in the Soviet Arctic / L.S. Govorukha.
Author(s): Govorukha, L. S.
Date: 1988.
Language: Russian transliteration entered into original records using BGN/PCGN 1947 romanisation of Russian; Cyrillic text in MARC 880 field(s) reverse transliterated from this by automated process; BGN/PCGN 1947 text then upgraded to Library of Congress romanisation.
In: Polar Geography and Geology. (1988.), Vol. 12(4) (1988)
Abstract: Small islands largely or entirely covered by ice. Radio echo-sounding surveys of three of these showed that all possess negative mass balance, and where there is land exposed, ice caps are experiencing steady marginal retreat at substantial rates.
