Title: Fluctuations in ice shelves and outlet glaciers in Antarctica / V.G. Zakharov.
Author(s): Zakharov, V. G.
Date: 1988.

In: Polar Geography and Geology. (1988.), Vol. 12(4) (1988)
Abstract: Interpretation of maps and satellite imagery reveals that during last 90 to 100 years, pronounced changes took place, especially abrupt fluctuations in frontal positions and dimensions. Many of these resembled surges, similar to surges of major Antarctic ice shelves in 1947-60 and 1965-75.
