Abstract: Between 1977 and 1986, at end of winter periods, six regional temperature profiles were compiled from thermistor readings from 80 drill holes. Data showed previous summer's warming effect to be at depth of 7 to 10 m below bottom, with thermal anomalies attenuating seaward.
