| Abstract: | Using Landsat thematic mapper data, extent of melting on Pasterze glacier, Austria, was measured using 3 August 1984 and 9 August 1986 TM scenes. Results show area of melting in 1984 covered 20.8% of total area against 34.7% of total area in 1986. Discusses implications. |
