Record #94323:

Snowmelt models with different degrees of complexity applied to shallow and short-living snowpacks in lowland basins / W. Bauwens.

Title: Snowmelt models with different degrees of complexity applied to shallow and short-living snowpacks in lowland basins / W. Bauwens.
Author(s): Bauwens, W.
Date: 1988.
In: Eastern Snow Conference. Proceedings. (1988.), Vol. 45th Annual Meeting (1988)
Abstract: First model is based on energy budget method and uses water retention capacity to model runoff delay. Second model is distributed model for description of coupled transport of mass and heat through snow. Results of simulation on shallow snowpack leads to conclusions concerning use of both models.
