Record #94293:

Biogeophysical aspects of population health at high latitudes / N.R. Deryapa.

Title: Biogeophysical aspects of population health at high latitudes / N.R. Deryapa.
Author(s): Deryapa, N. R.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Oulu: Nordic Council for Arctic Medical Research
In: Circumpolar Health 87. Proceedings of the 7th International Congress on Circumpolar Health, Umeå, Sweden, June 8-12, 1987. (1988.),
Abstract: Distinguishes three groups of meteotropic diseases: regional, exacerbation of diseases in magneto- and meteosensitive people, diseases caused by climatic contrasts during fast transition by modern transport. For "Sun-Climate-Man" programme, synchronous examinations of sick and healthy people were carried out in far north of USSR and Antarctic during periods of active (1980) and quiet (1985) Sun. Heliometeotropic reactions presented. Results for Arctic and Antarctic differ. Long-term heliometeoprognosis has been established.
