Abstract: Identifies three manifestations of the El Nino/Southern Oscillation (ENSO) signal in surface meteorological data from a number of Antarctic stations: 1) correlation SOI and South Pole temperatures; 2) pattern in monthly temperature anomolies following 1982-83 ENSO; 3) anomalies in surface wind regime following 1982-83 ENSO.
