Record #94213:

Micromorphology and microfabrics of sorted circles, Jotunheimen, southern Norway / Charles Harris, J.D. Cook.

Title: Micromorphology and microfabrics of sorted circles, Jotunheimen, southern Norway / Charles Harris, J.D. Cook.
Author(s): Harris, Charles.
Cook, J. D.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Trondheim: Tapir Publishers
In: Permafrost. Fifth International Conference. August 2-5, 1988. Proceedings. (1988.), Vol. 1.
Abstract: Two sorted circles were trenched and sampled for granulometric and micromorphological analyses. Results show complex microfabrics and granulometric patterns within fine-grained circle centres, and indicate that upward and downward movements of sediment probably take place during thawing of active layer.
Notes:
