| Abstract: | Study of teeth from 15 graves at Vivallen, north Sweden, and comparison with 17th to 19th century Norwegian Saami and with medieval Scandinavians. Results are compatible with hypothesis that Scandinavians who had adopted Saami lifestyle and mixed with Saami lived in Jämtland at end of Viking period and at beginning of Middle Ages. |
