Feedbacks and error mechanisms in a global coupled ocean/atmosphere/sea-ice model / S.J. Foreman, N.S. Grahame, K. Maskell, D.L. Roberts.

Title: Feedbacks and error mechanisms in a global coupled ocean/atmosphere/sea-ice model / S.J. Foreman, N.S. Grahame, K. Maskell, D.L. Roberts.
Author(s): Foreman, S. J.
Grahame, N. S.
Maskell, K.
Roberts, D. L.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: Geneva: World Meteorological Organization
In: Modelling the sensitivity and variations of the ocean-atmosphere system. Report of a Workshop at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (11-13 May 1988). (1988.),
Abstract: Presents some results of four-year integration of coupled general circulation model recently developed at UK Meteorological Office, with emphasis on understanding reasons for some systematic errors in simulation. Particular source of difficulty with coupled models is that systematic errors can become amplified when models are linked. Work is now in progress which should reduce these errors.
