| Abstract: | Describes these features in Varberg-Falkenberg area of west coast of Sweden. Previously, all were interpreted as end moraines, formed at about 13 to 13.5 ¹⁴C ka BP. However, stratigraphical studies have revealed that some are glaciotectonic ridges formed by readvance of ice after 12.6 ¹⁴C ka BP, following ice-free period of at least 500 a. |
