Are roches moutonnées mainly preglacial forms? / Erling Lindström.

Title: Are roches moutonnées mainly preglacial forms? / Erling Lindström.
Author(s): Lindström, Erling.
Date: 1988.
In: Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (1988.), Vol. 70A(4) (1988)
Abstract: Classical theory suggests they are formed by glacial erosion and are influenced by bedrock structures, lithological variations, and differences in glacial flow and thermal conditions. Weathering hypothesis suggests they are preglacial weathering remnants, modified by glacial and glaciofluvial erosion. Examples discussed include those from southern Sweden and Denmark.
