Abstract: Relation between albedo and density in top 5 cm of snow cover. Considers effects of impurities and liquid water content. Good agreement between calculated albedo and observed. Combining this model with snow density model, snow albedo can be expressed as function of number of days and mean air temperature after last snowfall.
