| Abstract: | Draws attention to existence of small fissures and ice veins of syngenetic nature, as observed in pseudomorph form in central Poland. May also be more common in western North American Arctic than is reported. Difficult to distinguish between syngenetic fissures that penetrate permafrost and soil veins or wedges that require only deep seasonal frost for formation. |
