Abstract: | Presents results from sea ice offshore from Syowa station, obtained during 27th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition. Radar transmits 32 frequencies in stepwise fashion between 300 and 796 MHz. Depth of snow on sea ice was measured as well as thickness of sea ice, although it was difficult to recognize echo from bottom of ice. |
