Record #93359:

Transmission of loads through grounded ice rubble / M. Sayed.

Title: Transmission of loads through grounded ice rubble / M. Sayed.
Author(s): Sayed, M.
Date: 1988.
Publisher: [Delft]: International Association for Hydraulic Research, Committee on Ice Problems
In: Proceedings, the 9th International Symposium on Ice, 23-27 August 1988, Sapporo, Japan. (1988.), Vol. 2.
Abstract: Examines role of grounded rubble fields in transferring floating ice loads to offshore structures. Field and laboratory studies provide information concerning geometry of rubble fields, composition, and some stress measurements. Methods of estimating grounding resistance and other analyses that deal with stability of rubble fields are discussed.
Notes:

In: Proceedings, the 9th International Symposium on Ice, 23-27 August 1988, Sapporo, Japan. Vol. 2. / Hiroshi Saeki, Ken-ichi Hirayama, eds.
