Numerical model of ice regime analysis in a canal / Guo-hou Jin, Pei-sheng Gao.
Title: | Numerical model of ice regime analysis in a canal / Guo-hou Jin, Pei-sheng Gao. |
Author(s): | Jin, Guo-hou. Gao, Pei-sheng. |
Date: | 1988. |
Publisher: | [Delft]: International Association for Hydraulic Research, Committee on Ice Problems |
In: | Proceedings, the 9th International Symposium on Ice, 23-27 August 1988, Sapporo, Japan. (1988.), Vol. 2. |
Abstract: | Describes method of forecasting ice regime in canals. Water temperature, frazil ice formation, and growth and decay of floating ice can be determined by heat balance equation. Results compare well with observed data. |
Notes: | In: Proceedings, the 9th International Symposium on Ice, 23-27 August 1988, Sapporo, Japan. Vol. 2. / Hiroshi Saeki, Ken-ichi Hirayama, eds. |
