| Abstract: | Evaluates performance of new ice model basin built in Nagasaki experimental centre of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd, and compares model tests of ice resistance for cone, two circular cylinders, and icebreaker model conducted in this tank and in ice model basin of Hamburgische Schiffbau-Versuchsanstalt GmbH. Good agreement found between results. |
