| Abstract: | Shallow firn core drilling programme was conducted in 1985. In conjunction with surveys carried out on ice-sheet topography and snow-surface characteristics, 250 m of firn cores were retrieved from 15 shallow bore holes to investigate structure of firn pack and its stratigraphy. Density, grain size and visible stratigraphy were measured on all cores. Data are presented. |
