| Abstract: | Based on fieldwork on the Udokan copper deposit. Thermodynamic analysis and experimental study of dynamics of leaching copper from ores at negative temperatures established intensive transformation of these ores in cryolithozone. Physico-chemical conditions of oxidation zone of Udokan deposit are favourable for formation and preservation of copper sulphate. Rates of vertical migration of copper-containing solutions through ice, established in experiments, explain presence of oxidized copper minerals at great depths beyond boundaries of active layer. |
